After a wonderful trip to visit many quilt-y family members I have returned and made it to another class. This time I added 2 borders and sandwiched all the pieces together. I also found out that bending over to put 100 pins in is back-breaking work!!! Anyhow here it is. Planning on quilting tomorrow. Yay!
Hi Carol
I think if you bordered it in the blue it would really set it off, great job 🙂 xo

I do really like blue. It will hang in my bedroom. I will have to see how that blue looks with the blue of my ceiling. Hmmm.

My choice for binding would be using the same fabric as the outer border if you have enough leftover. Your quilt is looking really good. I hope you show us the finished quilted result when it’s done. X

The quilts looks great and I think the blue would be a great binding. Either would look good though!

Thanks for the input Amanda. I am still on the fence about the color. I have 1 week left to decide. 😀

I’ve never made a quilt, so my opinion isn’t worth much . . . but I think the blue would be gorgeous! 🙂

Well, I happen to agree! I just posted the finished quilt and I did, indeed, choose the blue. I am pretty happy with it.
